The Ensemble Programme
Benefits of EnsemblesEnsembles are a great way for children and adults to learn music. Taking group classes along with private lessons can facilitate learning at an advanced speed. Group classes are also a good choice for students who have never taken music before. Classes are fun for children and adults, and allow for the students to interact socially. Playing in an ensemble is great for developing social skills, and make learning music fun by being able to share music making with their peers. Additionally, playing in a group setting aids in combating those performance butterflies normally present when playing a solo. The ensemble programme consists of various performance levels and styles. Each group meets weekly for a 45-60 minute coaching session with an instructor. Check out the variety of ensembles being offered at the Performance School of Music and Ancaster School of Music for children and adults.
