Summer Camps in Burlington and St. Catharines 2012 Enrich your child’s summer and keep them active with a wide variety of summer camps & private music lessons to choose from. We have new one day “try-it” summer dance camps. We also have week long summer camps where students can explore and learn many new things. Music, dance and art are fun and teach your child valuable skills. A summer camp is the perfect way to try something new or enhance existing skills. What a great way to keep their bodies active and make new friends. Our summer music and dance camps include camps for 3 & 4 year olds, 5 & 6 year olds and 5 – 10 year olds. Music lessons are for all ages! Click on the links to the below to learn more about our various camps and private music lessons: Summer Arts Camp (5-10yrs) A well-rounded summer camp at an affordable price! Come for one week or come for them all! Dance, Drama, Music and crafts… Each week students will prepare a unique production for presentation on final day of camp. 5 – 10 years old Choose to add a daily specialized music or dance classes to your child’s experience Each day’s activities begin at 9:30am and run through to 4:30pm. Before and after care is available from 8:30am to 5:30pm 5 Sessions to Choose! $199.00 per week Optional: Step 1: Choose your session:
Step 2: Choose your specialized classes: Guitar Classes Step 3: Select Before and After Care if needed: Preschooler Summer Arts Program Your preschooler will learn the basics of dance and music and practise some arts skills at our summer arts program. Taught by an ECE trained in music and dance, this program will run 2 mornings per week for 4 weeks this summer. Sign up for one or for them all! Tuesdays & Thursdays 9:00 – 11:30am 5 Sessions to Choose! $74.00 per week Peek-A-Boo, I Love You (newborn to 18 mo) More than just a curious story, Mother Goose games like peek-a-boo help babies understand language. In this special camp, uncover more ways to say "I love you" using American Sign Language, soap bubbles, and parent-baby dances. Plus, parents can meet with other newborns and families in the community and learn how music improves the child development process. Zoo Train (18mo to 3yrs) Toddlers and trains make a natural match—always on the move. Tag along this summer with a traveling zoo train. Bring your own stuffed animals for the petting zoo. Wear long white socks on your hands for polar bear paws and learn about real animals in the zoo. Sing songs for clapping time, and use music to help toddlers regulate emotions. Ancaster - Tuesday 9:30am Confetti Days (3 to 5yrs) Throw a new party every day. Ride a carousel inside the classroom. Play a balancing game and walk on the web of ropes. Do a musical move and freeze. Learn colors and sing the Spanish song "De Colures," "Pop, Goes the Weasel," and "Looby Loo." Ancaster – Tuesday 10:30am Tell Me a Tale (5 to 7yrs) Through storytelling, children will develop an early awareness of rhythm, movement, singing, and drama. Each lesson features a new tale from around the world, explored through multi-instrument and multi-cultural elements. All told, it’s an around-the-imagination adventure of the greatest stories from Europe, Malaysia, South Africa, and more. Oakville - July 9 - 13 or Aug 13-17 Mon - Fri 1-3pm Family Time –newborn to 7 years (45-min) Music class for families withmultiple children ages newborn and up. In Family Time you’ll play instrumentstogether, dance together, share, and take turns, and see how music can bringyou closer as a family. Burlington – Wednesday 10:30am
Angelina Ballerina Summer Camps The Performance School of Music and Dance is now an official Angelina Ballerina Dance Academy! Angelina Ballerina Dance Academy classes are taught through a nationwide network of top quality dance studios. Your child will receive a quality dance education in a caring and fun environment, all based on the beloved Angelina Ballerina character. The Angelina Ballerina Dance Academy curriculum is designed by internationally renowned master teachers and child development experts. Your child will be inspired to pursue their dreams of dance, just like Angelina Ballerina! This 5-day camp is designed to promote physical health, confidence, and creativity while teaching proper dance technique in Camp 1 for ages 3 - 4 ˝ and Camp 2 for ages 4˝ - 6. Promoting reading and literacy, this complete camp curriculum focuses on reading and studying the book, “Angelina's Perfect Party”. Also included are lessons in nutrition and creating a strong healthy body, educational activity sheets, and craft projects that will create excitement among young dancers.

Perfect for trying a new instrument or continuing your studies. With flexible scheduling, you let us know which weeks your are available for lessons, and only pay for those weeks. Lessons are available for most instruments and voice. Priced according to instructor & your availability, booked at time of registration.
